Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #266 November 1962 Gold Key Comics Grade Fine Feat. Art and Stories by Carl Barks

  • Details
"Stalwart Ranger" Carl Barks pencils and inks 10 pages

Applying for the rugged job of forest ranger, Donald Duck finds more than he bargained for when counting bighorn sheep. Carl Barks does his usual fine job, revealing a love for the great outdoors in his spacious illustrations. This commentary of modern society is especially funny with Barks' stereotypically spoiled cityfolk (pages 1-2). Other characters featured in this issue include Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Big Bad Wolf and Gyro Gearloose.
