Will the wondrous wall-crawler come off the bench and save the day? It's 4th down and life to go! Appearances by Flash Thompson, Harry Osborn, Ned Leeds, and Mary Jane Watson.
    Notes: The letters page features an article by assistant editor Roger Slifer explaining (or explaining away) the discrepancies in the Jackal story line. This issue includes a full-page ad for Hostess Twinkies featuring Peter Parker and Aunt May. This story was reprinted in Marvel Tales 130.
